Daylight. so it seems to fit the story that the aircraft turned back went over the northern part of the malaysian peninsula and was descending and when it got to penang it could have been 5,000 to 4500 feet and at that point this connection was made. there are reports who say 3,000 feet and others who say 15,000 feet. it's difficult for the simulator to tell you the exact altitude to be at but it fits with what had been reported earlier but it's the weird thing is why was it on? >> although it is lower than earlier reports. and a 777 flying over penang, malaysia at 5,000 feet is pretty noticea...
