SABAH is mulling new laws to come up with solutions to its waste management issues, said Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun. Through this move, he said local authorities would be empowered in the collection, enforcement and disposal of solid waste and provide solutions to waste management issues faced by the State. “Sabah can and will lead the way with Sabah Plastic Neutral, and with strong support from the international community, we can create a healthier and sustainable future at the beginning of the Unesco Ocean Decade,” he said
