南橫明霸克露橋斷橋3日後，部落母子竟沿玉穗溪、荖濃溪河床走，超過20公里返家，所幸平安抵家門。「媽媽揹小孩，沿橋下土石流走回部落。」桃源區梅山里里民說，明霸克露橋橋面與土石流相距不遠，河床有工程疏濬便道，這對母子於10日走回家園，由於甲仙工務段持續搶修橋面，山區下午有雷陣雨相當危險。
