Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for Gurugram Metro on Feb 16. The much-anticipated inauguration of Dwarka Expressway will not be conducted during the PM’s visit. The metro project will be financed by the Union government, state government, local bodies, and loans. The initial ridership of the route is expected to be around 5 lakh, increasing to 7.3 lakh by 2031.
Giving information about the Metro project, Yadav said that in the next four years, 27 stations will be built on this 28.5 km-long link at a cost of Rs 5452.72 crore., Gurugram News, Times Now
