Calvin L. Roberts. THOMASTON — Calvin L. Roberts, 78, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Sussman House in Rockport following a gallant battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Born in Thomaston on March 23, 1943, he was the son of Calvin W. and Hazel Weaver Roberts. He was educated in local schools. On March 24, 1964, he married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Goodrich, at the Federated Church in Thomaston. Together they made their home in Thomaston all their married lives. When Barbara eventually fell ill, he lovingly cared for her for a number of years until sh...
