Of the 6,909 active Covid-19 cases, 6,155 (88 per cent) are currently being treated from home, according to the Ministry of Health.  President Museveni said on Sunday that the country has a total of 3,793 hospital beds for Covid-19 patients. Of these, regional referral hospitals have only 900 beds, representing 23 per cent.

As the second wave of Covid-19 sweeps through the country, the government is directing Covid-19 patients to be treated from home due to the limited number of beds in hospitals .   ....
