Man jailed for life after murdering another man by stabbing him in the neck A man has been sentenced to life in prison after murdering another man by stabbing him in the neck.  Rhys Austin, 23, of Poulton Road, Fleetwood, was jailed for a minimum of 23 years at Preston Crown Court after being found guilty of the murder of Danny Wise. Police had been called around 8.05am on June 24, 2020, after reports of an assault in Mowbray Place, close to a building site on Laidleys Walk. Emergency services attended with a 32-year-old man found with a suspected stab wound to his neck.
