Candlelit church carols go online
A RYEDALE parish has united to record a candlelit carol service for people to enjoy from home due to the current Covid-19 restrictions. West Buckrose Parish Choir started to put plans in place back in September, with Settrington church warden and choir member Jeremy Durant offering the idea of the recorded service. The choir and organist Moira Gray recorded the carols, church members and local community have sent in readings and pupils at Settrington All Saints Primary School have recorded Away in a Manger and a reading.
