Tree planting gets under way in Bewdley THE first of 3,000 trees have been planted as part of a new woodland being created in Bewdley. Worcestershire County Council has committed to planting 150,000 trees supplied by The Woodland Trust across the county over the next five years, including a brand new woodland near to Blackstone Picnic Place in Bewdley. Tree planting has now begun at the Bewdley site, with more due to be added in 2021 and further woodland set to be created on county council-owned land in Norton, Evesham.
