Bird electric scooters are coming to Kirksville Kirksville will soon get a fleet of electric scooters that residents can ride around town. The City Council approved Monday an agreement with Bird Rides, allowing them to run their service in Kirksville. It isn’t a joint venture and the city isn’t being paid by the company. Kirksville City Council moving forward with application process to fill vacancy Ongoing discussions for filing a vacancy on the Kirksville City Council continued Monday during a council meeting. Those discussions came at the end of the meeting and lasted for the bulk of the 50-minute meeting. The council is moving forward with an application process to fill the vacancy left by Chuck Long’s resignation on April 5.
