Apr 30, 2021 Alvin L. Van Dusen (83 years young) of Walloon Lake, died April 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his wife and family. Alvin was born on Sept. 6, 1937 in Alpena, Michigan, the son of Albert and Myrtle (Allen) VanDusen and graduated from Alpena High school with the class of 1955. Immediately following high school, Alvin enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for the next 20 years as an instrument technician, retiring from the Air Force in 1975 as a Technical Sergeant.
