Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, accusing him of being controlled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He referred to Rao's party as the "BJP's B-Team" and the new nomenclature, BRS, as 'BJP Rishtedar Party'. Gandhi alleged that corruption charges against Rao and his party have made them subservient to the BJP.
There is a straight fight between the Congress and the BRS, said Gandhi while addressing a huge public rally at Khammam in South Telangana and repeatedly called the BRS as the B Team of the saffron party.
