New Covid-19 cases in Philippines breach 3,000-mark for 3rd straight day; 594,412 in total

MANILA, March 7 (Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported on Sunday 3,276 new Covid-19 infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the South-East Asian country to 594,412. It is the third day in a row that the Philippines has been reporting over 3,000 daily confirmed cases. Meanwhile, the health department also recorded 10,516 recoveries, bringing the number of patients who have recuperated from the disease to 545,853.
