Elizabeth Saxton PENNSBORO — A Ritchie County woman who did not resuscitate her dead baby after giving birth at home will appear before a grand jury in June. Elizabeth Saxton, 31, 108 School Drive, Pennsboro, gave birth in the shower and claimed the baby was blue in the face and not breathing, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Ritchie County Magistrate Court. Saxton reportedly did not try to revive the child or call 911; she wrapped the baby in a towel before placing it beside her bed, court records said. Staff Report CHARLESTON — Two deaths from the virus were reported Tuesday by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, a 73-year-old woman from Ohio County and a 77-year-old woman from Wyoming County, the department said.
