The movie is about Tiger Muthuvel Pandiyan (Rajinikanth), a retired jailer, who is happily spending leisure time helping his grandson Rithvik (Shakti Rithvik) to make reels though the latter has less than 100 subscribers, going to market for vegetables, and polishing shoes of his grandson and son Arjun (Vasanth Ravi), a police officer, and trying to satiate his hunger with whatever food is served on the dining table.
