Michael Crummey and Holly Hogan, who are two of the three finalists for the BMO Winterset literary award, share a roof but have different approaches to their work. Crummey has earned a reputation over the years for literary fiction, while Hogan has tapped into her work as a biologist for a powerful book on the state of the ocean.
