Nearly 40-km long, world's biggest riverfront to be developed from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar
Gujarat's state budget for FY24-25 focused on the poor, women empowerment, farmers, and youth, following PM Modi's vision. The budget allocated Rs 100 crore for extending the riverfront project from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar, making it the longest and most scenic riverfront in the world. Phase 3 of the riverfront development near GIFT City will begin soon. The Bhupendra Patel-led government plans to extend the Metro route to the Ahmedabad International Airport and the interior of GIFT City.
