Hwy. 93 project moves ahead with Spring Creek Rd. closure

Paving operations on the northbound lanes of US Highway 93 (US 93) in Ronan continue this week, and Spring Creek Road is now permanently closed.
Construction along Huffine Lane is expected to begin the week of July 17, 2023, covering approximately six miles from Four Corners to 19th Avenue.
The project begins a half mile north of the intersection with Bear Creek Road and extends approximately two miles north, ending south of Victor.
Improvements will include dual southbound left turn lanes from 6th Street West for morning traffic, additional lanes on Underpass Avenue, additional pedestrian improvements and new traffic signal and lighting.
Riverside Contracting crews will construct the sub-base of the new southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 93 this week and plan to work from 6 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday, as well as during the night from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Tuesday-Thursday.
