SPD deputy chief named Sarasota interim deputy city manager Pat Robinson, formerly deputy chief of the Sarasota Police Department, has been named interim deputy city manager for the city of Sarasota. Robinson will work under Marlon Brown, who was named interim city manager after the Sarasota City Commission decided to part ways with Tom Barwin earlier this week. He will take his new post Monday, according to Police Chief Bernadette DiPino.
