SRINAGAR: Five policemen including an Assistant Sub Inspector were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle in Kunzer area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday, officials said.
Bus Crushes Motorcyclist To Death
SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Tuesday after he was hit by a passenger bus near in Chortung Morh in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official told the news agency KNO that the motorcyclist was critically injured after being hit by the passenger bus.
He said that the injured motorcyclist was immediately shifted to CHC Sumbal, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The official identified the deceased as Liyaqat Mir son of Hidayatullah Mir, a resident of Check Garoora.
“Body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after completing all legal formalities,” the official said.
