The plan is to reduce the four-lane Washington Way to one lane in each direction, with a dedicated turn lane in the middle and bike lanes on each side.
Westbound lanes will close and traffic will be directed onto the eastbound lanes while crews begin concrete resurfacing and bridge replacements.
CHEYENNE – Crews with the Wyoming Department of Transportation, Reiman Corp. and Aztec Construction will be closing a portion of U.S. 30/East Lincolnway on Thursday, weather permitting.
While the eastbound closure is in place, the suggested alternate route will be I-265 and I-65.
