Corey Webster tried his darnedest, but the Breakers ultimately paid the price for their lack of firepower as they crashed to a 96-78 defeat to the Sydney Kings in Melbourne on Thursday night. Down import Lamar Patterson (at least a month with a knee injury) and departed Tall Blacks centre Rob Loe, Dan Shamir's side hit the skids after a sharp opening quarter and sunk to their sixth defeat in seven games this NBL season.
