Godfrey—Robert “Bob” McDonell, 70, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. Born Sept. 25, 1950 in Duluth, MN, he lived in Milwaukee, WI and Godfrey. Bob served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1970-1972 as a Sergeant in the 1 st Cavalry Division. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal W/2 Stars, the Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 Device, and the Bronze Star Medal.
