Arrest made for assault on police officer, other charges
The Brownwood Police Department issued the following press release Wednesday afternoon: On Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at approximately 5:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1600 block of 1 st Street regarding a suspicious person. The address is known to officers due to repeated calls from the resident – 50-year-old Robert Calbert Walker. On this occasion, a neighbor phoned police stating that Walker was on his front porch covered in blood.
