French film director, actor, screenwriter and producer Robert Guédiguian states that he happened to enter the world of cinematography by chance at the time when he was asked to write a scenario. YEREVAN, JULY 13, ARMENPRESS. French-Armenian film director, actor, screenwriter and producer Robert Guédiguian’s  movie “Crazy Story” will be screened in France in November and in other countries in the next year. Robert Guédiguian informed this in a meeting with journalists on July 13. The movie reflects upon the topic of the Armenian Genocide. The screening of that very movie marked the opening of the 12th international film festival “Golden Apricot.” 

ETCHMIADZIN, JULY 16, ARMENPRESS. French film director, actor, screen writer, producer, honorable guest at the “Golden Apricot” festival Robert Guédiguian was awarded with “Let there be light” prize. Catholicos of all Armenians Karekin II awarded the famous producer with the prize on July 16, at the Gevorkian theological seminary of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The solemn ceremony of award giving started with the Lord's Pray at the religious capital of Armenia.
