An Alaska fishing adventure became a nightmare for a family of eight when disaster struck one of the two boats they chartered over the Memorial Day weekend, leaving three people dead and two more missing despite a desperate search over hundreds of square miles of ocean.
JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Two vacationing couples — including sisters — and a fishing boat captain were on a charter boat found partially submerged in southeast Alaska over the weekend amid rough seas, family members said Wednesday.

Three others on the boat remain missing.
Police have identified a body recovered by the Coast Guard as 57-year-old Maury Agcaoili, who was found unresponsive in the water near Sitka, Alaska.
The passengers aboard the fishing charter boat were two sisters and their partners visiting Alaska from out of state.
