Published July 20. 2021 5:18PM  The Democratic Party supports elimination of the filibuster in the U.S. Senate, which would eliminate GOP minority legislative power. Yet Democrats fully support the Texas House minority Democrats who have left the state and are hiding out in D.C. because they do not want the Texas Republican majority to be able to vote on pending legislation. By leaving the state, the Texas Democrats are engaging in the ultimate filibuster. Classic hypocrisy.
