He was born February 4, 1947 in Weirton, WV. Jim was the son of the late Alfred and Sophie Filak Ferrari. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Mary Verne Ferrari, who were instrumental in raising him. He was a graduate of McArthur High School in Hollywood, FL.
