Biggest names in British comedy rally in support for Georgie Grier’s Edinburgh Fringe performance after tweet goes viral
Georgie Grier has hit back at cynics claiming that a photo she tweeted of herself in tears is a 'publicity stunt' after she had only one audience member at her Edinburgh Fringe show.
The London-based actress was left in tears after her one woman play, 'Sunsets', was watched by only one woman, who it has emerged is fellow Edinburgh debutante Sophie Craig.
EXCLUSIVE: Harry Robinson, 23, said he was found out what had happened because it had been his job to hand out fliers and persuade audiences to turn up - but he'd had a day off.
Sophie Craig (pictured), 32, who is a fellow first-time performer at the festival, told how Ms Grier 'gave it everything' and performed as if she was in front of a full house.
