Some inmates in a new program at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre in northwestern Ontario are learning a new skill — dog training. "Animals provide unconditional love and acceptance as well as spontaneous affection," says the dog trainer overseeing the program, adding these behaviours can serve as a "teaching tool."
