台北市一名60歲陳姓男子，昨天（15日）半夜潛入北投溪，開鑿竊取全球僅2處產有的稀有礦物「北投石」，路人聽聞怪異聲響，立刻報警尋求協助，轄區北投分局光明派出所警員趕到現場後，立刻逮捕陳男，並當場人贓俱獲，起出25.9公斤北投石，並查扣鐵鎚、鋼鑿等犯罪工具，訊後將他依《竊盜》、《文化資產保存法》移送法辦。（記者游承霖／台北報導）
