After 15 years in the sector, the executive is leaving banking for farmed salmon.
Andfjord said the nomination would be put forward to share holders for a vote on March 19. Current Chairman and Founder Roy Bernt Pettersen announced earlier that he would step down from his role when a replacement was found. Mosand has been with Nordlaks, one of Norway's largest privately held salmon farmers, since 2001. A spokesperson for Nordlaks told IntraFish Mosand's new role is separate from Nordlaks as a group, and that there is no investment or strategic agreement associated with the appointment.
