It leaves a trace, a footprint. you know, you have to look at the russian units in that area. i spent two years with the russian military, and they're not particularly disciplined. the firing orders, it's unclear. was this a rogue shootdown? was it mistaken for ukrainian aircraft? i think in the coming hours we're going to find that out. but it's entirely possible it was shot down from russian territory without the orders of the kremlin. those are just some of my thoughts. >> in terms of this kind of a system, this vuk system or whether it was some other kind of surface-to-air missile system, ...
