A vacation bench of Justices Nitin Sambre and Anil Pansare, while asking the BEST to file its reply, refused to grant relief in terms of stay on the tender process.
The Bombay High Court on Monday directed two private contractors, selected by the Maharashtra government to install CCTV cameras in police stations across the state, to appear before the HC on Friday to explain the delay in the installation work.
The installation work should have been completed within 22 weeks from the date of their contract last year. The two pvt contractors have now sought 16 weeks to complete the work.
