Bangladeshi ship hijack : A Bangladesh-flagged cargo vessel, MV Abdullah, was hijacked in the Indian Ocean by a group of Somalian pirates around noon today, and all crew members of the vessel are being held hostage on board, officials said.

Suspected Somali pirates yesterday hijacked a Bangladesh-flagged cargo ship with 23 crew members in the Indian ocean, according to the company that owns the vessel.

The entire Lalmonirhat was reeling from shock and horror after a brutal massacre on April 5, 1971.
