 December 27, 2020 (OOLITIC) – On Saturday, residents honored the life of 10-year-old Camden Moore, who died after he and his bicycle were hit by a vehicle on Wednesday on Vista Drive. Organizers from the Rolling Acres housing addition set out luminaries throughout the neighborhood. The luminaries were also seen along Hoosier Avenue, at the Oolitic K-Campus, and at the Oolitic VFW to show support and share memories of Camden. This investigation will take several minutes and public is asked to avoid the area. Residents cannot get into or out of the Rolling Acres Housing Addition at this time.  December 23, 2020 (OOLITIC) – Over the last couple of years of the Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department has given Santa a lift through the town on a fire truck. Santa will leave the fire station around 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will travel Hoosier Avenue to 10th Street, Oolitic Manor, Hall Street, Smith, Maple Street, East on 7th Street to Walnut, South on Hoosier Avenue and back north on Lafayette to Hoosier, South on Hoosier to 5th and Indiana.
