The very wee hours of the morning. what s going on, mandy? yeah, the retail store sales started at 8:00 a.m. this morning and of course you d have to line up to be out there in the front of the line. it s unclear just how many of these new ipads that apple is expected to sell in this launch weekend, but last november you might remember that apple reported initial sales of three million ipads in the first three days, which was twice the 1.5 million that it sold during the third generation launch in march. so and guess what, we re not even the first here in the united states. the new ipad already arrived first in places like australia, obviously my home country, and in the biggest global rollout launch yet for an apple tablet, it is headed to 41 other countries. according to c-net while initial online sales in various other places just after midnight local time was popular, it only sold out in hong kong. so we ll just have to wait and see until next week what kind of numbers we get i ....
