One of two men accused of involvement in a P30-million robbery in Pasig City allegedly perpetrated by four Taguig policemen has surrendered to authorities.

Colonel Roman Arugay, Pasig Police chief, and Jin Bautista of Pine Green Trading Corporation, one of the donors, personally handed the packs of rice to street sweepers in front of the Pasig City Hall.
In his speech, Bautista committed to continuously support the Pasig Police in helping frontliners and less fortunate residents in the city during these trying times.
Arugay, meanwhile, vowed to reach out to the community to help those people badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. “I appreciate the constant support of our stakeholders and commitment to the PNP organization. We will continue to balance and bridge the gap between the community and the police most especially in this time of pandemic,” the police chief said in a statement.
