National City approves cannabis ordinance, first in county to allow lounges
Print National City is the latest San Diego County community to adopt a cannabis ordinance, but it is the first to allow consumption lounges, following a City Council vote Tuesday. In a 4-1 vote, with Councilman Ron Morrison opposed, the ordinance lays out the framework for allowing retail sales, cultivation, distribution, manufacturing and transportation of cannabis and cannabis products in industrial zones and tourist commercial areas west of Interstate 5.
