7-year-old boy killed when someone fires through window of home in Humboldt Park

The shootout erupted around 8:22 pm in Humboldt Park Wednesday, and saw at least one bullet come through the window of the child's home on West Potomac Avenue.
The victim was washing his hands inside the home’s bathroom when a bullet came through the window, striking the child once in the stomach.
