Minister has nothing more to say on dumping issue Article by February 10, 2021 Minister of Agriculture Indar Weir, who had a post on his Facebook page over the weekend that accused a truck driver of dumping garbage illegally at Edgecumbe, St Philip, is commenting no further on the matter. “I am not getting involved in that,” Weir said when contacted by Barbados TODAY for a response to freighter Ronley Holder’s call for him to apologize for posting pictures of his truck and suggesting that the vehicle was involved in the act of illegal dumping around 8:30 a.m on Saturday. However, Holder said that while he did go to the area Weir identified, he dumped no garbage, but rather went to the Sustainable Barbados Recycling Centre, just after 9 a.m. on Saturday.
