BELLEVUE TWP. — Police have released the names of two people who were killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday in Bellevue Township, about 15 miles northeast of Battle Creek. Troy Bass, 53, and his mother, Loralie Hunter, 71, were killed when the vehicle they were in was struck by a pickup just before 10 a.m. Friday on Cronk Highway, west of Battle Creek Highway, according to the Eaton County Sheriff's Office.
