Why Do Businesses that Do Not Sell Data Include Opt out Notices?
The CCPA requires businesses that sell personal information to explain that consumers have a right to opt out of the sale. Some companies choose to include the link. If a business does not sell personal information, they may still include a notice of right to opt out.
