The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) in India has criticized the 'Delhi Chalo' farmers' march as "political" and not serving their interests. BKS general secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra argued that such movements often lead to violence, chaos, and loss of national property. He urged those who wish to fulfill their political ambitions to continue but not create negative feelings towards farmers.
Swami Prasad Maurya resigned as the national general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, accusing the party's leadership of discrimination and hypocrisy. In a letter to SP president Akhilesh Yadav, party secretary Ram Govind Chaudhary urged Yadav not to accept Maurya's resignation, stating that he is fighting against the "poison" spread by the RSS and BJP.
