WILMINGTON — Tammie Lynn Benton Gouveia, 53, died Monday, Dec.14, 2020. Tammie was born Oct. 9, 1967, in Wilmington to the late Robert Dale “Bobby” Benton and Ruby Jane Skipper Benton Williams. At a young age, Tammie was preceded in death by her father and lovingly raised by Stanley Williams. Surviving are her mother, Ruby; children, Cody Benton, Kayla Gouveia and Colton Gouveia; brothers, Robert “Dale” Benton Jr., Stanley “Cootie” Williams Jr. and Michael Lee Williams.
