Temuka pupils offer solutions to council on range of issues
O’Reilly thought the children came up with some clever ideas. “We often make what we think kids want without consulting them, and they’re the users. We need them on the council as councillors.” Since seeing the projects, O’Reilly has implemented yellow lines to be painted on the grandstand at the Domain so those with sight impairment can see which row they should sit in.
