Afternoon. if ted cruz's amendment impasse what can pass. >> anything that comes afford it will not get sufficient votes to pass. simply because you have republicans both moderate and conservative not able to meet someplace in the middle. also there are rules in the senate, because of the nature of the amendment, you need 50 votes to pass. that creates a rule hurdle for members of the senate. i think this is an opportune time to do one of two things. move on to tax reform and infrastructure. and while that's happening, have a bipartisan discussion to address these issues.
