On Friday evening rural police officers stopped the vehicle, pictured, after suspecting something was amiss. Upon searching the car, they found what they believed to be LSD and cannabis. A man was subsequently arrested but was released under investigation while the suspected drugs are tested. POLICE are highlighting the devastating impact of dog attacks on livestock as they urge owners to take responsibility for their pets. As more people are visiting the countryside to walk their dogs, North Yorkshire Police have been supplying stocks of warning posters to farmers to put up on gates and near livestock fields.
