Man dies after drowning off Tondaligan beach in Pangasinan
(Tim Marshall / UNSPLASH / MANILA BULLETIN) Dagupan City Police identified the victim as Jefferson Juan Carlos, a resident of Betis, Pampanga, presently residing at Tambac Muelag, Tambac, Dagupan City. Carlos had been drinking with his friend Russel Roque when he decided to go for a swim at around 7 p.m. without Roque knowing it. Roque said he only learned that his companion had gone for a swim after he saw lifeguards trying resuscitate him after rescuing from the sea. Carlos was rushed to Region Medical Center, but was pronounced dead on-arrival by the attending physician.
