EDUCATION chiefs have come under fire for keeping children socially-distanced from Santa in schools this Christmas.

INVERCLYDE Leisure is counting the cost of the second lockdown as it looks set to suffer pandemic losses of £3 million. OVER 20 talented young people who have all lived in care hit the right note to ensure there is still Christmas magic in the air at local nursing homes this year. 'Proud2Carol' is a project that has been developed by local group Proud2Care - a group with a range of care experience from across Inverclyde. The group, supported by the health and social care partnership and community care forum Your Voice, allows the youngsters to share experiences, make friends, learn skills and make suggestions to improve the local care system and support youngsters.
